GTM technology advisory
We advise the vendors you're considering. Scott has given product advice to GTM software companies for years, so when you're buying, you hear where a product works and where it stops.
What that means when you're buying
Fewer bad tool bets
We know where a product stops working, beyond what the demo shows. Less money goes on seats that never touch pipeline.
How it works with AI
Whether its API, MCP server or CLI lets agents do the work, or only looks like it does.
A recommendation that isn't for sale
No vendor can buy its way into your stack. We recommend tools on fit. If we have any relationship with a vendor, we tell you before you buy.
What we do for buyers
Tool decisions
A written recommendation between the tools you're weighing, tested against the buyer decision you're buying for, including whether agents can drive each one.
Agentic tool implementationStack cleanup
Overlapping tools and AI seats consolidated, so spend goes where the play needs it.
AI workspaceA connector instead of a platform
When the right tool won't integrate, a small connector often closes the gap without a new contract.
Custom apps and MCPsThe rules
- Sell placement in a client's stack
- Share a client's name, data or results with a vendor
- Push an annual contract before a tool has proven itself on your data
- Pick tools by fit for the decision you're buying for
- Tell you about any vendor relationship before you buy
- Check whether agents can drive the tool, on your accounts where a trial allows
How advice fits each step
- Step 011
Connect your data
We check which tools hold the data your play needs, and whether you can get it back out through an API, an export or a connector.
- Step 022
Prioritize by revenue impact
We size the decision first. Sometimes the answer is a play on tools you already pay for, with nothing new to buy.
- Step 033
Ship into the tools your team uses
If you need a tool, we pick one agents can drive, on the shortest term the vendor allows, and then build in it.
- Step 044
Keep improving
The tool is judged by the play it serves. If that play doesn't beat its comparison accounts, we say so before your renewal date.
Who we've advised
Scott's product advice has covered data providers, sequencers, dialers, enrichment tools, CRMs and signal platforms. We name a vendor only after it agrees to be named. Ask on the call about any tool you're weighing, and we'll tell you where we stand with it.
The tools we build in most
Building in a tool implies no partnership with its vendor.

Everything else we work withFor GTM software vendors
We give product advice to GTM software companies on positioning, packaging and roadmap. That work stays separate from what we recommend to buyers, and advising a vendor never earns it a place in a client's stack.
GTM AI Bootcamp
A bootcamp answers the tool question on your own data. First the costliest buyer decision, then whether the tools you already have can serve it.
Before you book
If you advise vendors, how can your advice be independent?
Advice buys a vendor our honest opinion, never placement. We recommend on fit, tested against your decision, and tell you about any relationship before you buy.
Do vendors pay you?
Some GTM software vendors pay us for product advice. That's separate from client work, and we never share a client's name, data or results with a vendor.
Can you help us choose between tools we're already evaluating?
Yes. We test them against the decision you're buying for, including whether agents can use them, on your own accounts wherever a trial allows it.
We're a GTM software vendor. How do we start?
Book a call and say so. We'll talk about your product and whether product advice fits.
Deciding between two GTM tools?
Tell us the decision you're buying for. In 30 minutes we'll tell you what we'd pick and why.
